Scale Up Pitch FAQ
What is the Scale-Up Pitch event?
Scale-Up Pitch is a monthly investor showcase where high-growth, revenue-producing companies present their business to accredited investors, venture funds, and family offices. The goal is to connect scalable companies in North Texas with the capital and expertise they need to expand operations. Each event features three to four curated company pitches, followed by investor Q&A and feedback sessions. The format is collaborative and non-solicitation-based, fostering high-quality deal flow and investor engagement
Who can attend the event?
Attendance is limited to accredited investors, family offices, and select partners by invitation only. Service providers may attend solely on an invite-only basis and are required to sign a non-solicitation agreement. The sessions are not open to the general public. Investors can request invitations or register through the Eventbrite link available on the website after pre-approval
How are companies selected to pitch?
Companies interested in presenting apply through Dealum, the official deal management platform for Scale-Up Pitch. Each submission is reviewed by the organizing committee—comprised of representatives from TEN Capital, Hawkeye Capital, nFLXn Point Group, and FBFK—to ensure the company meets the “scale-up” criteria: strong revenue traction, clear growth potential, and readiness for institutional or angel investment. Selected companies receive coaching on their presentation and participate in a 30-minute session (10 minutes to pitch, 10 minutes Q&A, 10 minutes investor feedback)
When and where does Scale-Up Pitch take place?
Scale-Up Pitch meets monthly, typically on the fourth Thursday, at FBFK’s offices in Plano, Texas, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (lunch included). Hybrid participation via Zoom is available for remote investors and presenters. The next scheduled sessions are listed on the website and Eventbrite. Future events are planned to expand to additional markets such as Austin and Houston
