Welcome to Scale-Up Pitch (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website https://scaleup-pitch.com (the “Site”), event registrations, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
 By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Purpose of Scale-Up Pitch​

Scale-Up Pitch provides a platform for connecting growth-stage companies (“Presenters”) with accredited investors, family offices, and other qualified professionals (“Investors”). The events facilitate introductions and feedback but do not constitute investment advice, solicitation, or guarantees of funding.

All participants are responsible for conducting their own due diligence and making independent decisions.


2. Eligibility​

Participation in Scale-Up Pitch events is by invitation only and limited to:

  • Accredited investors, venture funds, and family offices;
  • Pre-qualified companies selected to pitch;
  • Approved sponsors or service providers invited under a separate agreement.
 

By registering for an event or using our Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally permitted to participate in professional investment activities.

3. Non-Solicitation Policy​

Scale-Up Pitch events are not open to general service providers or vendors unless expressly invited.
All attendees agree:

  • Not to solicit business from other participants (including Presenters or Investors) for unrelated professional services without prior consent.
  • Not to use contact information obtained through the event or website for marketing, lead generation, or commercial purposes.
  • To sign a non-solicitation agreement if requested by the organizers.
 

Violations may result in removal from current and future events.

4. Presenter and Investor Responsibilities​

  • Presenters must ensure all information provided (e.g., pitch decks, financials, and claims) is accurate and does not infringe on any third-party rights.
  • Investors must conduct their own independent due diligence and acknowledge that Scale-Up Pitch does not verify or endorse any investment opportunity.
  • Organizers reserve the right to approve, decline, or remove any participant at their discretion.

5. Event Conduct​

All participants are expected to act professionally, respect confidentiality, and maintain a collaborative environment.
 Recording or redistribution of event content without prior written approval is prohibited.

Organizers may reschedule or cancel events at their discretion, in which case registered participants will be notified by email.


6. Privacy Policy​

We respect your privacy.

  • Data Collected: We may collect names, emails, and company information for event registration, communication, and follow-up purposes.
  • Use of Data: Your information will be used only to operate the event, send relevant updates, and maintain compliance with investor accreditation standards.
  • Sharing: We do not sell or rent your data. Limited information may be shared with event partners or sponsors for operational purposes.
  • Security: We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security.
  • Contact: You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data by contacting privacy@scaleup-pitch.com.

7. Intellectual Property​

All content on the Site—including text, logos, and event materials—is the property of Scale-Up Pitch or its partners and protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws

You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties​

All information, materials, and services provided through Scale-Up Pitch are provided “as is” and “as available.”
We make no representations or warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content, nor do we guarantee investment results or returns

9. Limitation of Liability​

In no event shall Scale-Up Pitch, its founders, partners, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Services, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages

10. Indemnification​

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Scale-Up Pitch, its affiliates, officers, and partners from any claims or liabilities arising from your participation, actions, or violation of these Terms.


11. Modifications​

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Site or Services after posting changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The latest version will always be available at https://scaleup-pitch.com/terms.


12. Governing Law​

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in Dallas County, Texas.
